After Corrientes was shown in "rebellion" before the decree of President Alberto Fernández that prohibits social and family gatherings in all of Argentina, on Tuesday the Governor, Gustavo Valdés, criticized the text, but assured that the province will accompany the National Government .
A day after the province's general secretary, Carlos Vignolo , had declared that there were no reasons for Corrientes to change, Valdés remarked that the decree is "contradictory" and that he "took them by surprise" .

"The presidential decree took us by surprise because we had been working in coordination with the phases, making a great effort with the mayors.
