It was implemented with relative success by Canada and New Zealand. With the stabilized case curve, it could be implemented in some parts of the country.

The pact requires trust, commitment, sincerity and responsibility on both sides. "It is essential that on both sides the behavior always takes into account the other party so as not to put it at risk and that, in case of transgressing the agreement made, whoever has broken the pact will make it known so that the necessary measures are taken" . The infectious medicine doctor Eduardo López, a member of the expert committee that advises the National Ministry of Health, does not talk about how the (or some) couples work but about how the so-called "social bubbles" should work , an instance to socialize between of the coronavirus pandemic successfully implemented by countries such as New Zealand or Canada.

"The commitment is established between two nuclei of cohabitants. They can be two parts of a family or two friendly families, who agree to form a contact bubble. Then they meet, preferably outdoors, and there may be more socialization than what is had with the members of the house itself. This has a positive impact on the emotional health of the boys and also of the adults, "explains the infectious medicine doctor Roberto Debbag. And he risks: "In the City the cases are stabilized, this could begin to be implemented in a few weeks. Although there are not yet conclusive studies that quantify the impact of the bubbles, it is known that they collaborate in discouraging large meetings and conglomerations, because part of the intention of socialization is at stake in that meeting. "

For López, caution should be used: "This is something that has worked very well in some countries, but when the control of the pandemic is much more advanced, that is, when the cases are already declining. This in Argentina is not yet going through the I still wouldn't think about implementing social bubbles, "he says.

Strictly speaking, in Argentina a Decree of Necessity and Urgency is currently in force that prohibits any social gathering in the entire country until at least August 16: it provides for penalties of up to two years in prison. As López describes, "when the time comes, the meetings between the two groups outdoors would be better, with masks, keeping their distance, but a meal in a house can also be safe, all with masks until eating and with distance." .

To these conditions, Debbag adds a few more: "If the meeting is going to be in a house, it is essential not only that there is distance and masks until the moment of eating, but that the rooms are very well ventilated. At the same time, it is very important that the food adapts to the circumstances: it is advisable to bring utensils, if possible disposable, and above all to eat something that should not be served from the same source, for example. If it is going to be a barbecue, for example, it is ideal that each person go get your food on the grill. "

"The most important thing is that each nucleus of cohabitants commit only to another nucleus of cohabitants, so that there are no crossings of encounters. This should be done with a family group with which they have extreme confidence and with whom they do or do not know that any transgression will be avoided and that, in case of incurring it, it will be warned immediately. fourteen days until the next meeting, "López describes.

Consulted by Clarín, sources from the Ministry of Health of the City specified that meetings in open areas are planned for phase three of opening in Buenos Aires, and during phase four, meetings in closed spaces: none of these phases have a date and they depend on the epidemiological evolution of the coronavirus and on the political decisions that are made.

It is not planned, in principle, to limit these encounters to one nucleus, two nuclei coexisting with each other. From the portfolios of Health of the Nation and the Province, they maintained that the possibility of appealing to the "social bubbles" is not, for now, in the future panorama. It is that the growth of cases has not stopped in Argentina.
