(ANSA) - MONTEVIDEO, AUGUST 4 - Latin America and the Caribbean have passed the threshold of 5 million cases of Covid-19, according to official figures.
The pandemic caused over 202,000 victims in the region, where Brazil remains the worst hit country with nearly 95,000 deaths.
