On Tuesday, the Central Emergency Operations Center (COE) and the Ministry of Health of the province of Córdoba ordered the isolation of a country located in the south of the provincial capital after 21 positive cases of coronavirus were confirmed .

For a period of seven days, residents will not be able to go to work outside the neighborhood and will only be allowed to leave one person per home to go and look for "food, medicine or essential supplies."
Another measure was the restriction to the maximum of circulation within the country : only shops that provide essential services will be kept open and the use of golf and soccer fields, club house, common use pools and other spaces will be prohibited.
According to reports, the Ministry of Social Development and the Municipality of Córdoba will also provide food, cleaning kits and other basic supplies for the duration of the isolation period.
In parallel, an epidemiological investigation will be carried out "by means of a combined strategy of diagnostic expansion, with PCR studies (swabs) to people in the neighborhood, close contacts and symptomatic people, and population sampling through serology studies," the authorities explained.
The Cordoba health ministry confirmed 144 new cases of Covid- 19 in provincial territory on Tuesday night , 81 of them from the capital. It was the largest daily increase since March. In addition, there was a deceased person.
The accumulated since the pandemic began is 2,707 infections and 51 deaths .
