An Air Force plane crashed in southern Córdoba

A McDonnell Douglas A-4AR was conducting shooting exercises in a field and failed. The pilot must have ejected and is out of danger.

A fighter plane belonging to Argentina crashed this Wednesday in the province of Córdoba, in Villa Valeria, on the border with San Luis, in the midst of combat exercises. The pilot was the only occupant and managed to survive. 

It is a McDonnell Douglas A-4AR aircraft, registration C-295, belonging to the V Villa Reynolds Air Brigade, of the Argentine Air Force. 

The pilot, who managed to eject himself from the aircraft and would be in good health and minor injuries, was doing some shooting exercises near Villa Valeria.

For reasons that are trying to be determined, the machine had a failure, the pilot who is a First Lieutenant, gave notice to the control tower, tried to control it and when there was nothing to do, the officer had to eject.

The aircraft crashed in a field in that rural Cordovan area, on the border with the Puntana town of Justo Daract.
