Coronavirus in Argentina: another 127 deaths and 7,147 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours

Almost 140 days after the quarantine began, the Ministry of Health reported that in the last 24 hours, another 127 deaths and 7,147 new cases of coronavirus were added throughout the country. 

This Wednesday morning, the Ministry of Health had reported 30 new deaths: 16 men and 14 women. They were from people residing in the province of Buenos Aires (12 and 12), CABA and Neuquén (1 and 1 in each district), a man from Chaco and another from Santa Fe.

Of the total cases (49.2% women and 50.8% men), 0.5% are imported, 27.8% are in close contact, 56% due to community circulation and the rest are under investigation. The total number of discharges is 96,948 people.

Last Tuesday, 16,532 new samples were made and since the start of the outbreak, 777,278 diagnostic tests were carried out for this disease, which is equivalent to 17,129.4 samples per million inhabitants. The number of cases discarded until yesterday is 442,881 (by laboratory and by clinical / epidemiological criteria).
