Leading entertainment industry magazine has dedicated the latest issue to Hollywood's young promises, and who if not actress Shira Haas has been chosen to star in its cover story • Respect!

The rebel does not stop: Corona or not, 2020 marks a record year in the career of Shira Haas, who continues to reap impressive achievements.

As you may recall, Haas' (25) historic nomination for the prestigious Emmy Award in the coveted category of lead actress in a mini-series was recently announced for her role in the Netflix "Rebel" series. Now, Haas is gaining another prestigious international acclaim, with a cover story in the reputed Variety magazine, in the Hollywood Young Promises issue, starring the successful singers Maluma and Megan de Stallion.

In the issue itself you can find a long profile article full of praise for her ace and career. "In the conversation," writes reporter Kate Arthur about the interview that took place with Haas from her home in Tel Aviv, "she turns out to be thoughtful and quick." Haas, Arthur reveals, wants to write and direct and is full of praise and appreciation for the actresses and directors who have worked alongside her over the years, such as Jessica Chastain and Natalie Portman.

"The choice of singing for Esti's lead role was unanimous," quotes Anna Winger, the series' screenwriter. "We all really jumped to our feet and cried. She is a young and intelligent woman with a lot of depth and she deserves everything she deserves later," Winger said at the end of the article.

Haas' fans and friends in Israel did not remain indifferent either, and the post with the cover photo that Haas uploaded to her Instagram yesterday garnered more than 40,000 likes and hundreds of encouraging comments, including from two colleagues who starred alongside Amit Rahav and Jeff Wilbush.

In recent years Haas has become an international star and is gaining a string of impressive credits and achievements that make her a first-rate international star. In April she starred in American and Greek Vogue in two impressive fashion productions, and in June she signed with the prestigious CAA agency which is signed by leading stars in the industry including Jennifer Aniston, Ariana Grande, Ryan Gosling, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga, Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, Robert Nero, Johnny Depp and more. Haas has taken part over the years in successful series such as "Stisl", "The Principle of Replacement", and "Harmon" and in the films "A Tale of Love and Darkness", "The Wife of the Zoo Keeper", "Fox Trot", "Maria Magdalena" and "Noble Wild "(For which she also won the Ophir Prize). In April of this year, she won the Best Actress Award for International Feature Film at the prestigious Tribeca Festival, for her role in director Ruthie Perry's "Asia." She is currently taking part in the filming of the third season of the "Stisl" series, which is expected to air during the end of the year.
