(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 07 - Norway has advised its citizens to avoid all trips abroad, even in a few cases of Covid-19, in the context of a series of measures aimed at preventing the outbreak of the epidemic. The Guardian reports it.
"I think most of us have understood that the holidays are over," health minister BentH ›ie said in a press conference. "We have to roll up our sleeves, because we have a job to do: to prevent the cicostring virus from closing the country again."
As of Saturday, the minister announced, bars across Norway will no longer be allowed to serve after midnight. The rallies will be limited to 200 people and adult sports will no longer resume on September 1st as expected.
Masks will likely become mandatory on mid-publics, and a decision in this regard is expected on August 14th. (HANDLE).
