The Corona in Israel: Yesterday (Thursday) 1,674 people were diagnosed with 28,382 tests, according to updated data published this morning by the Ministry of Health. According to the data, 537 new carriers were identified in 7,684 tests at midnight. To date, 80,431 people have been infected in Corona in Israel.

Two people died at midnight, and the death toll stands at 578. 776 patients are hospitalized in the hospitals, among them 106 respirators, 374 in critical condition, and 151 whose condition is defined as moderate. There are currently 24,577 active patients in Israel.

In addition, there was an increase in the number of red cities. The list includes Bnei Brak, Modi'in Illit, Ein Nakuba, Emanuel, Kfar Ha'oranim, Elkana and Ilut. Among the orange cities: Jerusalem, Ashdod, Beit Shemesh, Elad, Beitar Illit and Qalansawa.

The rate of carriers diagnosed yesterday in tests performed on new patients stands at 6.1 percent of a total of 27,471 tests.

More than 100 percent occupancy was recorded in the corona wards at Hadassah Ein Kerem, Shaare Zedek Sourasky, Shamir and Sheba hospitals.

Meanwhile, there are 2,302 health staff members who are currently in isolation: 316 doctors and nurses, 650 nurses and nurses, and 1,336 in other professions.
