(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 9 - The United States will drop below 5,000 soldiers in Afghanistan by the end of November. The American Defense Secretary Mark Esper said last night in an interview with Fox News.
Esper explained that the Pentagon has yet to inform members of Congress about the plan and that it still wants to make sure that "the US is not threatened by the terrorists coming out of Afghanistan".
