Usually, you go to the big summer events dedicated to the shows of the stars you love. But, due to the health crisis, these events were canceled by the hundreds. Never mind! Failing to applaud them, you will be able to enjoy yourself, for a few euros, with numerous filmed concerts by French and international artists, most of them unpublished.
Until August 23, the Cine music festival, launched by Universal Music France and CGR Event, offers to immerse yourself (masked) in the freshness of dark rooms. The principle? During three weekends in August, five to six concerts are offered in 100 French venues CGR and Kinepolis. We can therefore see them simultaneously in all regions of France, from Abbeville to Albi, from Bourges to Bordeaux or even from Brest to Mulhouse… In Ile-de-France, Paris, Nanterre, Mantes, Sarcelles, Epinay are concerned. sur-Seine, Torcy, Evry and, in Oise, Beauvais.
From Sting to Daho via Mika
The event began this weekend with Alain Bashung, Bernard Lavilliers and -M-. And, for the Sunday screening, Vanessa Paradis and The Cure are showing. Viewers will be able to benefit from almost ideal conditions to view these rare recordings, starting with the big screen and the excellent sound quality.
“This is the opportunity to see exclusive recordings of concerts,” explains Nicolas Gautier, of Universal Music France. Among these are shows by Sting, Mika, Christophe, PJ Harvey or even Etienne Daho never or very rarely broadcast.
More good news: no need to break the bank. The festival has provided mini prizes. The single session costs 7.50 euros, and if you opt for a pass formula, the price drops accordingly. On the other hand, spectators must book screenings on the Internet.
