(ANSA) - BEIRUT, AUGUST 9 - The toll of the wounded in clashes between demonstrators and police in Beirut has risen to at least 728, after the explosions that killed 158 people in the Lebanese capital.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese Internal Security Forces confirmed the killing of a police officer, adding that over 70 policemen were injured in the clashes. About twenty people would have been arrested.
