Coronavirus infections in Italy rise again . In 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health, 463 new cases were registered, compared to 347 on Saturday, which brings the total to 250,566.

Number of victims at an all-time low since the beginning of the epidemic in Italy : in 24 hours - according to the bulletin of the Ministry of Health - two people have died throughout the country from Covid , a figure that has not been recorded since last February. On Saturday 13 deaths were reported by the bulletin. Overall, there are 35,205 deaths since the beginning of the epidemic.

A similar figure on the number of victims from Covid had not been recorded since last February 21 , when the first two deaths of people positive to the virus were recorded. The record for the number of victims in the space of 24 hours was instead reached with the bulletin released last March 27, when 919 deaths were recorded.

"For days the data of the contagions, undulating, can lead us to think that the situation is getting out of hand but it is not: there is no resurgence at national level but several well-contained outbreaks", explained Deputy Minister Pierpaolo Sileri on Fb . By containing the outbreaks, making them remain small, and continuing with the sense of responsibility "that we have developed over the past months, protecting others with a mask, spacing and hygiene; the rising phase of the virus will not be a second wave for how the we met in March, "says Sileri.
