After the success of the film screening project at the mythological Drive-In, a new and interesting event arrives: "Cinema on the Water" in Ganei Yehoshua Park

If you can not see movies in the cinema - now it is possible to see them on the lake. The Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality is launching a new project, called "Cinema on Water - Drive in the Lake", which includes watching movies from boats across the lake in Ganei Yehoshua Park.

After the mythical Drive In film screening project was successful, another project came, as mentioned, through the Department of Performances and in collaboration with the Tel Aviv Cinematheque and Ganei Yehoshua, which received the Ministry of Health's approval to hold the film screenings and complies with the purple mark.

The event will take place in the last week of August, when 70 boats will be placed on the lake in front of the big screen that will be placed there, two meters between boats, so that viewers can watch the movies safely.

"Tel Aviv-Yafo is a city without a break, but the Corona crisis has understandably stopped a large part of the city's cultural and leisure activities," said Tel Aviv-Yafo Mayor Ron Huldai. Details about the event will be announced during the upcoming week. The event by purchasing tickets in advance, for Tel Aviv-Yafo residents by presenting a digital ticket.
