About 30 motorcyclists who were running chopped on Route 2 were arrested and their motorcycles and driver's licenses were seized in the midst of social, preventive and mandatory isolation. In addition, they could be sanctioned with fines of up to 133,000 pesos.
According to police sources, the clandestine event took place on Saturday afternoon, on a section of the highway at kilometer 60, in the town of Etcheverry, La Plata district.
Personnel from the Samborombón Road Department, with the support of the Breathalyzer Division, the Quilmes Motorized Division and the Brandsen and Vieytes Road Detachments, carried out an extensive logistical deployment and seized 31 high-displacement motorcycles and retained the same number of driver's licenses for motorcyclists. who carried out clandestine bites.
Within this framework, the officers proceeded to identify 34 motorcyclists and notify them of the initiation of a case for violation of article 205 of the Penal Code .
In addition, 34 minutes were drawn up for carrying out bites and for lack of security measures, while legal proceedings were initiated in the La Plata Misdemeanor Court.
It is a violation of article 45 of municipal ordinance No. 6,147, which provides penalties ranging from 10 to 500 modules and / or arrest of up to 30 days. The value of the module is 266.50 pesos.
