The days are corona days, and hot outside as only August knows, but even this year we are not exempt from employing the children on the big holiday. Most of the camps ended on Thursday, and from here we have three weeks to fill. So we collected some ideas for summer where it is impossible to fly abroad, it is not allowed to congregate and it is difficult to stay outside much because a mask and moisture do not go together. Enjoy!

      Museums
The whole cultural world is dying, we have not been to a show, movie or show for months, but there is one thing that has survived all the murky corona waves - museums, which is great luck. Museums are a great pastime for children, whether it is a nature museum, an art museum or various science museums that offer content tailored to children. It is an air-conditioned pastime, in an area large enough to practice social distance, and with lots of interesting and enriching content. So find a museum that interests you, and go for it. It will burn for at least 5 hours.

      Sea and pool
Parents have a complex relationship with spending time at the sea and in the pool. On the one hand, it is a rather enjoyable summer pastime, and on the other hand - getting organized before and after can drive a sane person crazy. But it was precisely this year, when the threat of closure hovered over the swimming pools and beaches, that most of us seem to have remembered that the benefits of this pastime outweigh its disadvantages. So pack sunscreen, a hat, towels, clothes and a few other things that you will surely need, prepare yourself for a house full of sand in the coming days (or the smell of chlorine, whichever you prefer) and indulge in the thing that children love most in the summer. Even if it is not perfect, the children will enjoy it, it will be well photographed and they will surely go to bed early.

      A movie in the
Klonoe living room , as mentioned, is no longer an option, but that does not mean that you have to give up the experience completely. August is the perfect time to complete with the kids watching the classics that made your childhood. Introduce the kids to The Magic Princess, Charlie and the Chocolate Kingdom, Carte Kid, the never-ending story and other movies you loved as children. Watching together and talking about the film is a formative and bringing-together experience, and it also burns quite a bit of time.

      A home baking workshop
in the first Corona closure we have all become professional bakers, and it's time to pass it on to the kids. Go into the kitchen with the kids and bake cakes and cookies, pizzas or other pastries you like with them. Kids will enjoy mixing and kneading, creating balls and shapes of cookies. And it's even educational: they'll learn to follow instructions, clean up after them, improve their fine motor skills, and if you jump to the neighbors to respect them in your work - they'll also learn a little about generosity.

      Such a life
does not matter how old your children are, you have probably accumulated a respectable amount of photos, which you have been planning to arrange in albums for years but do not really get to. A long vacation at home is the opportunity to dig into photos from your childhood (see what mom would have looked like when she was your age), from pregnancy, and just from the life you once had before kids, and of course show kids photos and videos they were taken "really long ago". You can spend an entire day like this. After you finish the nostalgic journey, let the children, according to their age, help you organize them in albums (digital or not, depending on the child's abilities and your preference). If this pastime will pass the day pleasantly you can do the same with the mountains of creations and works that children bring with them from kindergarten and school.
