Ingredients
- 5 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 2X3 cm cubes
- 6 chicken legs (either just hips or only shanks - whatever you like)
- 1 sweet red pepper, cut into strips
- ⅓ Whipped cream
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tsp
- ½ a teaspoon of turmeric
- Salt
- black pepper
Preparation
How to make a pot of chicken and potatoes?
1 In a large, large pot, place the diced potatoes. Sprinkle the pepper strips on top and the chicken pieces on top.
2 Sprinkle the spices over everything, pour the oil and add water only to the height of the chicken (do not cover the chicken with water but only until the water touches the chicken).
Bring the contents of the pot to a boil, cover and cook over medium heat until the chicken is tender and a maddening odor is dissipated in the house.
4 Remove the lid and cook for another 10 minutes without covering until the liquids are slightly reduced and the sauce thickens.
