Corona spread in Israel: The Ministry of Health this evening (Wednesday) published data on the incidence of the virus, according to which 87,878 carriers of the disease have been diagnosed in Israel so far. The number of active patients rose to 25,614. At midnight, 13 patients died, and the number of victims now stands at 639.

According to the data, 1,003 new infections were identified today in 17,035 midnight tests. Yesterday, 1,804 carriers were diagnosed in 27,555 tests.

762 patients are currently hospitalized, including 369 in critical condition, 110 respirators, and 156 patients in moderate condition. In the last two days, there has been a severe decrease in the number of patients: two days ago, 402 patients were reported, yesterday there were 382, ​​and today - 369.

In addition, the number of red cities in Israel has increased significantly. The list includes: Jerusalem, Bnei Brak, Modi'in Illit, Beit Shemesh, Elad, Yarka, Deir al-Assad, Ein Nakuba, Ilut, Hurfish, Kfar Ha'oranim, Kfar Bara and Sha'av. Among the orange cities: Tel Aviv-Yafo, Ashdod, Petah Tikva, Taibeh, Beitar Illit and Nazareth.

The verified rate yesterday stood at 6.8 percent in 26,475 tests, and now stands at 6.1 percent in 16,431 tests.

As of 6:17 p.m., there is no more than 100 percent occupancy in the corona wards of hospitals in the country. In addition, there are currently 2,023 health staff members who are in isolation: 261 doctors, 567 nurses, and 1,195 in other professions.
