The entire video is several tens of minutes long. We discover, thanks to the cameras on board two police officers, the entire arrest that led to the death of George Floyd.

George Floyd had been arrested for having made purchases with a fake 20 dollar bill. From the beginning of the filmed sequence, George Floyd appears panicked by the presence of police pistols in hand. We hear the man, who will die a few minutes later, say to one of them: “Sorry, sorry. I'm not doing anything […] I've already been shot ”.

George Floyd then begs the police not to place him in the back of the police car: "At least open the window, I'm claustrophobic." Before being forcibly brought into the vehicle and saying for the first time: "I can't breathe".

He will then be pulled out of the car by the police crews, before policeman Derek Chauvin places his knee on George Floyd's neck for more than eight minutes. In agony, George Floyd long begged the police to release their grip.

It is a judge, after the complaint of several media, who ordered that the images shot by police officers Thomas Lane and Alexander Kueng be made public.
