(ANSA) - BASTIA UMBRA (ASSISI), AUGUST 15 - Three young Italians were arrested by the carabinieri for the death of a twenty-four-year-old native of Spoleto overwhelmed by a car crash after a clash between two groups that took place near a local Bastia Umbra. Unintentional homicide and aggravated brawl allegedly against them.
According to the military reconstruction, the three - residents of Bastia and Assisi - were in the car that overwhelmed the victim.
After a first discussion with the other group, all residing in the Spoleto area, the arrested tried to get away with the car. This - it emerged from the investigations - was however pursued and hit by the other young people. At that point one of the occupants got out and - again based on what emerged from the investigation - punched the victim, who fell to the ground unconscious. The young man then passed the car twice to get away.
Throughout the day the carabinieri of Assisi - commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Marco Vetrulli - and the magistrate on duty acquired various testimonies to reconstruct what happened with precision. Then the arrest of the three. (HANDLE).
