While a second wave of Corona is raging in many cities and countries around the world, there are areas that are already really recovering from the crisis. One of them is Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, which hosted the events of the Spring-Autumn Fashion Week 2021. This summer may not have been as imagined, but judging by what has been presented - next summer is expected to be completely normative.

The number of guests at Copenhagen Fashion Week was lower than usual, with many international fashion personalities avoiding boarding a plane and making their way to the only place that marks a real and non-virtual fashion week these days. The presence of face masks was also skyrocketing, and alongside polished locks, one could see the face masks, some colorful and designed - and some the usual surgeries. Hugs and kisses were out of the question and the two-meter principle resonated in the minds of those present.

In the list of famous style anchors that have come to the place one could find mostly the locals. Danish supermodel Helena Christensen, the gorgeous fashion blogger Emily Sindlev who replaced locks at a dizzying pace and also the hot girls duo Thora Vladimir and Janet Paris Madsen who are behind the successful Scandinavian brand Rotate. The two, who met photographer Soren Jeffen, said they feel the style that characterizes guests at the current fashion week is much less grandiose, much more room for personal statement. "People prefer to mix styles. Take a vintage item to a friend with an item from their wardrobe. They no longer borrow clothes specifically for the event, they just wear what suits them at the moment. We would like to see more of it."

Photographer Jeffen, for his part, argued that what characterizes this fashion week is the rise in awareness of the importance of diversity - both in terms of models and in terms of guests. "Photographers need to photograph more diverse people. Look for those who are usually ignored. There are a lot of people at these events, not just those who are invited to the front row. But the change needs to happen not only with the photographers, but also from brands and advertisers."

After a few weeks of idle fashion and precise street looks that we avoided, it's finally possible to indulge in fine style. So in order to lift the mood and provide some inspiration, we decided to combine some of the successful looks that were seen outside the events of Copenhagen Fashion Week. Maybe soon the tradition will return to the series.
