If you have planned a diving holiday and want to take your equipment with you, you should also be careful. Because diving and snorkeling equipment can contain dangerous goods, for example compressed air cylinders or underwater lamps. The equipment must not simply be in the suitcase .

The light or energy source of the diving lamp must be removed beforehand, compressed air cylinders must be empty and the valves must be open. It is also difficult with camping stoves , because the gas containers required for this are prohibited in hand luggage and suitcases. This is only allowed if you empty the stove beforehand and obtain authorization from the airline.
