This is 32-year-old American Amy Song, a successful fashion blogger with more than 5.5 million followers on Instagram, who decided to step out of the light of the perfect filters and reveal the truth behind her sweet and shiny image.
You can write and talk a lot about the "body positive" trend - the positive body image, but many times it stays there at the word level. The change often comes when opinion leaders are recruited, the same "leaders" many of whom in this age are not necessarily professionals but "ordinary people", those who have grown up on the net and have millions of followers for whom they are the lights and the innocents. They listen to every word of theirs and see them as a role model.
In recent years, fashion and beauty bloggers have also entered this field, bravely removing the perfect filters and revealing the truth behind the scenes, which is of course much less glittering, but much more real.
Song chose the soft belly (literally) to advance the all-important agenda of positive body image and acceptance, and uploaded a photo of herself in an oval bikini while using her palms to create a heart in her lower abdomen.
Song has boldly and openly revealed that she has been suffering from dysmorphia for more than two decades and has been dealing with an eating disorder since the age of 10. "Even at my lowest weight, I have always suffered from body image disorder," Song opened the confession with a post that garnered close to 130 million likes and thousands of comments. "I never loved my body. I had an eating disorder since I was 10 and I never dealt with it," she said.
"I remember when I was a high school cheerleader I tried all kinds of exercises to have squares in my stomach like the other girls in the group, but no matter what I did I never had a flat stomach. It's crazy to think how hard I worked on trying to get 'squares' and how my way there was all "So unhealthy. Recently a lot of people have asked me if I'm pregnant and noted that my face is swollen and round," she shared, writing: "So I did not. I only gained seven kilos. I eat a lot and exercise less, but for the first time I am not obsessed with losing the extra pounds. I "Training now only because it makes me feel good about myself and not to look a certain way. I finally have a butt that I can grab," she added alongside emojis of peach (symbolizing the female butt) and a face in love.

"I'm working on my eating habits with a therapist to create a proper relationship with food she told me, and signed the post explaining what led her to reveal her personal story right now: going over her old bikini photos left on the floor of her editing room in piles because they did not pass The "Instagram test".
