The Friedkin Group is the new owner of Roma. The official announcement came at the closing of the stock exchange through a note issued by the Giallorossi club.

Our vision for the club and the team is to favor a sustainable and long-term investment approach rather than quick fixes of dubious duration." The Friedkin Group completed the acquisition of the majority stake in Rome, approximately 86.6% of the share capital, through "Romulus and Remus Investments" (a company incorporated under the laws of Delaware). As a result of the completion of the acquisition of the majority stake in the club, Friedkin is required to launch a mandatory takeover bid on the remaining ordinary shares on the market. After the finalization of the closing, the Rome Board of Directors received the resignations of the following directors with effect from today: James Pallotta, Charlotte Beers (independent), Richard D'Amore, Gregory Martin, Paul Edgerly, Cameron Neely (independent) and Barry Sternlicht. These directors, explains the note issued by Rome, do not hold shares in the club and have not been beneficiaries of severance pay in connection with such resignations. The Board also appointed the following new directors by co-optation: Dan Friedkin (president), Ryan Friedkin, Marc Watts, Eric Williamson, and Ana Dunkel. The new executive committee will consist of Dan Friedkin (president), Ryan Friedkin, Guido Fienga, Marc Watts and Eric Williamson. Guido Fienga will keep the position of CEO of Rome.
