The previous doubling, between 75 thousand and 150 thousand cases, had occurred between July 4 and 24, that is, in 20 days. In the case of deaths, the doubling was one day faster: to go from 3,000 to 6,000 it took 21 days, while between 1,500 and 3,000 had passed 22.

This new stage of the fight against the coronavirus included a return to phase 1 in several provinces in the interior of the country where there was a greater growth of cases, while in the City and the Suburbs the focus is on continuing to avoid social gatherings.
