Due to the filming of the fourth season of "Stranger Things" stopped by COVID-19, Gaten Matarazzo decided to change activities.

The pandemic derived from the COVID-19 outbreak paralyzed various sectors worldwide, including entertainment, for which several celebrities had to make use of their savings, or change their profession temporarily.

One such example is that of the young actor Gaten Matarazzo , who became famous for his character as Dustin in the famous science fiction series "Stranger Things."

And now, the 17-year-old artist surprised with his new temporary job in a local in Long Beach, New Jersey, where he works as a waiter.

Matarazzo's representative confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that, along with other members of his family, he works in a restaurant in his hometown as a waiter.

According to the aforementioned post, Gaten is careful to uphold all safety protocols when wearing a mask and hat, but despite these measures, it is impossible not to recognize the talented actor.

Although he is used to flashes and red carpets, the artist did not hesitate to change activities during this time, because the recordings of the fourth season of "Stranger Things" had to stop, as did most of the productions in Hollywood.

The premiere of the fourth season was scheduled for the summer of 2020, however, the production could not continue, leaving its fans waiting for it to resume.

It should be noted that Gaten is one of the most charismatic actors and loved by the audience of "Stranger Things", and his character, Dustin, has allowed him to give visibility to the rare disease he suffers, cleidocranial dysplasia.

It is a genetic ailment that affects one person in a million to varying degrees, and is characterized by abnormal development of the bones of the skull and clavicle.

As the actor himself has previously explained, his case is mild, but it can be a very difficult disease, so he is proud that his character has contributed to making it known.

The truth is that, perhaps the new activity of Matarazzo is nothing more than a way to stay entertained during the pandemic, since in March 2018 it was confirmed that, due to the great success of "Stranger Things", its protagonists had a salary increase $ 250,000 per episode.

This means that, just for the last season, made up of eight episodes, he got 2 million dollars for his performance.

Speaking a little more about the series, its creators, the Duffer brothers, announced that the next season will have guest stars and actors that they admire.

"We have a couple of really cool guests . It's a really fun way to meet one of your icons, you know? Write a role for them and see if they want to do it. They're actors that we grew up watching, so it's amazing and surreal." pointed out.
