(ANSA) - NEW DELHI, AUGUST 19 - It will be the Central Bureau of Investigation (Cbi), the Indian FBI, to investigate the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput: the Indian Supreme Court decided today.
The Court thus accepted the request of the actor's family, found dead, at the age of 34, last June 14 in his apartment in Mumbai. Initially all the media talked about the hypothesis of suicide and a strong depression which the star would suffer from difficulties in the working environment; but the family, with the father on the front line, has always maintained that the suicide was not credible, and requested that the investigation be conducted at a higher level than the Mumbai Police.
Sushant Singh Rajput was one of the most popular Bollywood stars in the country: Prime Minister Modi also expressed his condolences at the news of her passing. (HANDLE).
