(ANSA-AFP) - BERLIN, AUGUST 19 - Saudi Arabia has said today that it will not follow the United Arab Emirates in signing an agreement with Israel unless the Jewish state first reaches an internationally recognized agreement with the Palestinians.
During a visit to Berlin, Adel al-Jubeir, Saudi State Minister for Foreign Affairs, said that "peace must be achieved with the Palestinians" on the basis of international agreements. "Once this is done, everything becomes possible," he added.
This is Riyadh's first reaction after the announcement of the agreement between Israel and the Emirates. (ANSA-AFP).
