(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 19 - There are about 120 open tables at the Ministry of Economic Development: disputes which, according to what is learned, concern about 160-170 million workers and are down compared to last year. For the most part these are tables that have been open for several years: some even for 7 years because they are situations that require a permanent table due to the criticality of the sector; about 70 have been open for more than 3 years and about 28 for 7. September already has a busy calendar of meetings on important disputes from Bekaert and the former Embraco.
In one year of work, the number of crisis tables opened at the Mise has however significantly decreased: according to what is learned, there are about 10 disputes resolved with positive results, including Pernigotti and Corneliani, two historic brands Made in Italy. Thanks to the closure of these crises, about 1,800 workers have been saved. (HANDLE).
