The end of the holidays will make traffic “difficult” on the return roads throughout the weekend, including a Saturday classified as red nationally, Bison Smart announced on Wednesday.
"The four days of this period will be difficult on the roads in the direction of the returns", adds the organization in a press release, because with the school holidays which end, "the main part of the road flows concerns the returns of the coastal regions towards large metropolises ”.
Thus, traffic in France is globally classified orange in the direction of returns Friday, Sunday and Monday.
Motorists going on vacation will also encounter difficulties on Saturday, with a day classified as orange nationally in the direction of departures, and red in the south direction from Lyon, in the Rhone Valley and along the Mediterranean coast.
The rest of the weekend (Friday, Sunday, Monday) should be fluid in the direction of departures, with traffic classified as green throughout the metropolis, specifies Bison Futé.
