It was in 2000 when Jennifer Lopez starred in "The Cell," a psychological thriller that was nominated for the Oscars that year in the category of Best Makeup.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the film directed by Tarsem Singh , the actress shared on her Instagram account a clip with scenes from the production and in which she also remembers what it was like to work on the project.

"I can't believe this is the 20th anniversary of my twelfth movie #TheCell! "Tarsem, the director, I think he is a very visual director, he had an idea of these super strange images that he wanted to put there, and somehow get into the mind of a murderer, and how they would look, what it would be like," he said. he hears JLo say in a fragment of the clip he shared and which is also available, in its full version of almost 6 minutes, on his YouTube channel.

"The images are so surreal, and somehow beautiful but unpleasant, so it's a really interesting movie, because there were no limits," added the Hollywood star.

Laughing, he recalled that when they filmed it was suddenly confusing to know where his character was, but that the goal was always to make everything feel authentic.

Jennifer brought to life Catherine Deane, a psychologist who was experimenting with something radical and new: entering someone else's unconscious mind, including their dreams.

In the beginning, Deane had only tried her potentially maddening method on a child in a coma, hoping to wake him up. But when sadistic murderer Carl Stargher (Vincent D'Onofrio) falls into a similar coma, with his latest victim still alive, kidnapped in a cheat-filled cell, FBI agent Peter Novak (Vince Vaughn) turns to Catherine as his last hope to solve the case.

Lopez loves to go back in time to remember the projects that have led her to be the artist she is today.

Last April, JLo shared online the fiery scene she filmed with Richard Gere in "Shall We Dance?", Where she played a sexy dance teacher.

Shortly after, in that same month, and by way of a TBT Jennifer remembered the romantic scene next to Matthew McConaughey in "The Wedding Planner".

And perhaps one of the memories that caused the most sensation among his fans was that of the epic slap that Lopez gave to Jane Fonda in "Monsters in Law", 15 years ago.

But Alex Rodriguez's fiancée doesn't just have good movie memories. Just last month, JLo shared a video of an interview they conducted at the beginning of the millennium, and showed how since then he has fought for the equality of people in the United States.

In another tenor, the singer and jury of the competition program "World of Dance" rescued from the trunk of memories a video with one of the most sensual choreographies of her career. And, with a career as long and versatile as hers, there are undoubtedly many moments to treasure.
