The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported 214 new deaths and another 8,159 positive casesof coronavirus in the country. It is the second consecutive day above 8,000 infections a day.
In its morning report, the health portfolio had confirmed the death of 50 people (34 men and 16 women) of which 23 resided in the Province, 12 in Jujuy, five in the City of Buenos Aires, three in Mendoza, two in Chaco and Neuquén , and one in Chubut, Entre Ríos and Salta.
The fatality rate of the virus is 2% and the general mortality reaches 144 people per million inhabitants, with an average age of 72.5 years.
