The positivity rate is also increasing. According to Public Health France, it is 3.6% this Sunday, against 2.8% seven days ago.

Vigilance remains essential: 38 departments are in a situation of moderate or high vulnerability. Of these 38 departments, 7 are at a high level: Bouches-du-Rhône, Guyana, Hérault, Paris, Sarthe, Seine-Saint-Denis, and Val-de-Marne, recalls Santé Publique France.

Stable numbers at the hospital

In France, 333 sources of contamination are being investigated, also developing Santé Publique France. 32 new clusters have been identified in the last 24 hours.

As for hospitalizations, the figures remain stable, with 4,709 people hospitalized for a coronavirus infection, and 383 patients in intensive care, or 3 more than on Saturday.

In total, 30,513 people have died in France as a result of a coronavirus infection, including 20,002 in hospital (one new death has been recorded in the last 24 hours) and at least 10,511 in medico-social establishments (including nursing homes). This last figure will be updated next Tuesday.
