The Ministry of Health announced tonight (Sunday) that the number of people infected with corona in Israel has risen by 341 people since midnight. As a result, the number of people diagnosed with the virus rose to 102,380, including 22,022 active patients. In the last day, 720 patients were diagnosed and about 10,795 were performed (positive rate of 5.5%).

868 patients are hospitalized in hospitals across the country, of which 398 are in critical condition (115 respirators) and 195 moderate. 79,501 patients recovered and were discharged to their homes (178 of them since midnight). The death toll stands at 834 people, with 10 patients having died since midnight.

The Ministry of Health updated that the red cities in Israel are: Jerusalem, Bnei Brak, Modi'in Illit, Rahat, Tira, Umm al-Fahm, Kfar Qassem and Ilut.

Meanwhile, the Corona Cabinet will convene tomorrow for another meeting where further decisions are expected to be made regarding the continued dealings with the Corona. One of the main issues that will arise will be the flights to Uman in Ukraine.

Corona's commissioner, Prof. Roni Gamzo, told Israel Today yesterday ahead of the Corona cabinet meeting: "I do not believe that flights will depart from Israel to Uman as usual, after letters to the President of Ukraine and my unequivocal professional position that it is at risk of entering a closure."

"I do not think the trip to Uman can be completely ruled out or prevented through connections," Prof Gamzo said last Tuesday. Mass charter flights should be avoided from here to there. "If we do not avoid the flights, there will be an added risk that we take the return of those people here, since we have no way of being responsible for how the event is handled on the planes and at the event itself."
