Warning about beer from Krombacher! Recall started due to risk of injury

The Krombacher brewery has launched a recall for a soda-beer mix. Glass splinters in the beer could cause dangerous injuries if consumed.

The popular German brewery Krombacher brought a real novelty to the German beer market in June 2020 with its lemonade beer. With only 30 percent Krombacher beer and a full 70 percent lemonade , the mixed drink has only 1.5 percent alcohol content, according to the brewery.

Shortly after the product was introduced, the Krombacher brewery launched a recall for its product " Limobier Lemon, naturally cloudy". The company warns against drinking the soda-beer mix . Apparently, glass splinters could have got into the bottle due to a technical fault at the Steinfurt production site . These could cause serious injury to the throat and stomach, and internal bleeding.

Recall due to broken glass: These batches of Krombacher soda beer are affected

The Krombacher brewery is recalling three batches of the article “Limobier Lemon naturally cloudy”. The recall concerns the batches with the lot IDs BBD 27.05.21, BBD 16.06.2021 and BBD 17.06.2021. It should only concern 0.33 liter returnable glass bottles.

Callback due to glass splinters: Customers of Krombacher Limo-Bier can do that

Krombacher asks customers who have purchased this beer with the above-mentioned lot identifier to return the product to the market. The cost of purchasing the product will be reimbursed. Other batches or products from the Krombacher brewery are not affected by this recall .
