Lidl recall: warning of frozen products - health risk from viruses

Paderborn - There is currently a recall * for a frozen berry mix , which is also sold at the discounter Lidl . It is a product of the manufacturer Zumdieck GmbH with headquarters in Neckarsulm in North Rhine-Westphalia. "It cannot be ruled out that the affected product contains  noroviruses  ," said a press release .

Recall at Lidl: "Do not consume the product"

The Zumdieck company announced that Lidl had immediately removed the frozen fruit concerned from its branches - and warns: "Due to the possible health hazard , customers should definitely heed the recall and not consume the product ." The company also sent an apology for all those affected.

According to the press release, the “berry mix” affected by the recall can be returned to all Lidl branches and the purchase price will be reimbursed - even without presenting the receipt . Other products offered by Zumdieck at Lidl in Germany are not affected by the recall.
