Even if the direct flights from Israel to Ukraine are canceled due to the understandings between the governments, to Israelis who want to get to Kiev, which is about 180 km trained (about two and a half hours drive), there are quite a few options - and many are very cheap.

Those who agree to wait for a connection that will last about 11 hours in Vienna on the way back, and in Rome on the return, will be able to get to Kiev for only $ 85 for a flight ticket. The return flight will depart on September 16 and a return flight about a week later.

Shorter stops will result in a higher price. For example, the price for flights to Kiev on September 24-15 via Vienna with the Austrian company on the way, and via Frankfurt with Lufthansa on the return, with a stop of between two and three hours on the way to Kiev, is about $ 320.

There are also quite a few flights via Turkey, Germany, Belarus and Latvia. At the moment, the system also records flights of Ukraine International Airlines. The company's direct flights to Kiev start at around $ 500 and also reach $ 800 for round-trip flights. It is important to note that it is not clear whether the direct flights will eventually depart from Israel to Ukraine near the Tishrei holidays.

Another way to get to Uman is via the Ukrainian city of Odessa which is less than three hours drive from the tomb mark. In this case, too, the flights are very cheap - there are flights for a few tens of dollars with long stops and low-cost companies.
