Coronavirus: Sottovento employee intubated in Sassari

(ANSA) - SASSARI, AUG 26 - Two new hospitalizations for Covid-19 in the infectious diseases department of the Aou of Sassari, one of which in serious condition, intubated and followed by the resuscitation medical staff. The person for whom the doctors decided on assisted ventilation through endotracheal intubation is a 56-year-old man, an employee of the Sottovento di Porto Cervo, whose manager has already been hospitalized for a couple of days in the same hospital.
    The other patient is an elderly tourist who was spending his holidays on the Costa Smeralda. For the latter, health conditions are not worrying.
    In the infectious diseases department of the Aou di Sassari there are at the moment 14 people hospitalized after contracting the Coronavirus. (HANDLE).
