After the efforts made in the wake of the corona pandemic, one-off bonus payments and premiums for nurses and medical staff were decided in many countries. In Germany , the care bonus decided by the Bundestag only applies to those employed in elderly care. A restriction that has met with broad criticism and is understandable if you know how decisions were made in other countries such as France or Sweden. While Sweden rewards medical staff with record premiums of around 9,500 euros, in France it is 1,500 euros.
