Thailand, Ireland and also the United Arab Emirates, these are just some of the green countries from which it will be possible to enter Israel without the need for isolation. However, Israelis still cannot enter the new countries on the list without a foreign passport. 

As you may recall, exactly two weeks ago, the "open sky" outline came into force. The first list included 20 countries including Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Hungary, Jordan, Hong Kong and more. A number of other countries are now expanding to join the green list.

Among the new countries: Australia, Uruguay, UAE, Singapore, Norway, Taiwan, Ireland, Portugal and Thailand. As stated, none of these countries accepts Israelis with only an Israeli passport.

Currently, Israelis can fly to only three green countries if they do not have a foreign passport. The countries are Bulgaria, Greece and Croatia.

At the same time, talks are taking place with other countries that may very well allow Israelis to enter their territory in the coming days. Georgia and Cyprus are the prominent countries on this list. In Thailand, a pilot for tourists is expected to begin soon. If the pilot is successful, it may allow a state holiday in the coming weeks that will likely include isolation and corona testing.
