(ANSA) - PARIS, AUGUST 30 - Temporary medical centers to practice tampons for Parisians will be set up from tomorrow in the streets of the capital, in particular in front of the municipalities of the arrondissement: the government spokesman, Gabriel Attal, announced it to RTL microphones.
The initiative tends to decrease the pressure on the laboratories, now besieged by people who ask for the test even without symptoms and who queue for hours.
From tomorrow, anyone wishing to swab - including people not subject to the national health system - will be able to ask for it in these centers whose location can be consulted on the website of the City of Paris. Everything will be free and without the need for a prescription.
On Thursday, the Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, announced that the government is reaching the capacity of one million tampons a week with the aim of controlling the increase in infections. (HANDLE).
