Apart from the number of clusters, the report published late Sunday afternoon by Public Health France (SPF) is almost identical to that of the day before.
Confirmed cases. In France, 5,413 new cases of Covid-29 have been detected in the past 24 hours. This is the figure stopped by SFP at 2 p.m. The day before, 5,453 confirmed cases had been discovered.
Tests. The test positivity rate (number of people tested positive divided by the number of people tested) continues to increase, to 4.1% over the last seven days, against 4% on Saturday and 3.6% on Wednesday.
Hospitalization. The figures for hospitalized people are also almost stable: 4535 people are hospitalized (4530 Saturday) including 402 in intensive care (400 Saturday).
Death . 30,606 patients have succumbed to the coronavirus. SPF counts 4 more deaths than the day before. 20,099 of these deaths occurred in hospital settings.

Clusters . The number of “clusters” under investigation, outside nursing homes, has significantly increased: 40 active epidemic outbreaks have been detected in the last 24 hours (compared to 23 the day before), bringing their number to 346.
17 departments classified as "high vulnerability". Alpes-Maritimes, Bouches-du-Rhône, Gironde, Guyana, Hauts-de-Seine, Hérault, Loiret, Paris, Rhône, Sarthe, Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-de-Marne, Val-d'Oise, Var, Vaucluse, Martinique, Guadeloupe including Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélémy. As on Saturday, 36 other departments are classified in a situation of "moderate vulnerability".
