The Ministry of Defense will house the returnees trained in isolation in hotels. This was stated today (Sunday) by the Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Bnei Gantz in his meeting with the Corona Commissioner Prof. Roni Gamzo. The Corona Cabinet is expected to convene in the evening, where Gamzo's "traffic light" plan will be put to the vote and the issues of flights to Uman will be discussed.

Ganz told Gimzo that he would instruct all blue and white ministers to support the traffic light model he formulated together with the defense establishment. 

Regarding the Uman issue, the Defense Minister said: "The Ministry of Defense will be prepared to address trained returnees through hotels and other means, in accordance with an outline to be agreed between the projector and the ministerial staff. This is in order to reduce the potential for infection."

The two also discussed the corona headquarters' entry this week into the first phase of the epidemiological investigations, expanding involvement in the red and orange cities and the issue of postponing the start of the school year in the red cities and the required restrictions.

Gantz said at the end of the meeting: "The entire security system will continue to make most of its resources available to Prof. Gamzo and his staff in order to strengthen the war in Corona while emphasizing the unique needs of each population. Gamzo will continue to receive all the organizational and political resources required to fulfill his role. "

Over the weekend, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu decided to set up a team of ministers who would formulate an outline for operating flights to Uman, following outrage and protests, including from within the government.
