The Corona Cabinet has ruled tonight that classes will not open tomorrow in "red" cities, at least until Thursday.

The decision is valid for all ages, but not for special education and youth at risk, and it may change after another hearing on Thursday, when the issue of traffic restrictions in the "red" cities and the issue of studies next week will be discussed.

The cities defined as "red" by the Ministry of Health are Dalit al-Carmel, Tira, Ein Mahel, Emanuel, Kfar Qassem, Asfiya, Kfar Aza, Kfar Kanna, Rechasim, Zemer, El Batuf, Lakia, Beit Jen, Ibelin, Ma'ale Iron, Kfar Bara, Jaljulia, Nahal Sorek Regional Council, Kaabiyah-Tabash-Hajajara, Jadeida Makr, Umm al-Fahm, Jat, Tiberias and Beitar Illit.

According to the "traffic light model", many restrictions will be imposed on those cities.

The corona ward at Shaare Zedek Hospital is the only one with full occupancy, yet many other hospitals - such as Hadassah Ein Kerem, Barzilai and Bnei Zion - have high occupancy.
