The

Ministry of Health of the Nation

announced another 9,309 new infections of coronavirus and 203 deaths in the last 24 hours.

In the morning daily report, the health ministry had reported 41 new deaths of

20 men and 19 women

(26 from the province of Buenos Aires; 4 from the City of Buenos Aires -CABA-; 3 from Chaco; 2 from Mendoza; 2 Neuquén and 1 in Salta and another in Santa Fe).

Two people were notified without the data of sex.

Of the total cases until this morning, 49.1% were women and 50.9% men.

The total of reported registrations is 301,195 people.

This Sunday 15,637 tests were carried out and since the beginning of the outbreak there are 1,257,906 tests.

The number of cases discarded was 693,151.

Regarding the political relationship, the issue is more tense between the ruling party and the opposition, since the good deal between the City of Horacio Rodríguez Larreta and the Province of Axel Kicillof seems to have ended.

The Buenos Aires governor gave a press conference this Monday in which he differed from the strategy of his peer, warning without naming him that "it is a mistake to open more" the quarantine and that in

the AMBA the situation due to the coronavirus "is worse "

.

When making an analysis of the epidemiological situation, the provincial president affirmed that "the growing trend" of infections was consolidated in the area hardest hit by the pandemic and put more restrictions in eleven municipalities.

From the other side, the Buenos Aires Minister of Health,

Fernán Quirós

, assured that the "worst moment" of the coronavirus pandemic in the City was at the beginning of August and that the curve is stabilized, although he recognized that the path of descent will be " slow and gradual ".

In addition, he denied with data a link between the infections and the opposition marches, as President Alberto Fernández had proposed.
