In Landshut, police officers are looking for a snake. The animal had escaped through the tilted roof window of a house on Saturday, as the officials said. Accordingly, the 1.30 meter long boa escaped when its owner wanted to clean the terrarium.
The 50-year-old put the animal briefly on a chair for this purpose, it said. Shortly afterwards it was empty.
The man immediately informed the police. According to the information, the strangler is said to be "shy of contact". The police assume that the animal is hiding in a cellar. The boa is harmless to humans.
