Scare moment for Baden-Württemberg's Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann: He was involved in a traffic accident on Monday evening.
According to the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of the Interior, the Green politician was "probably unharmed".
However, according to initial findings, there were other injuries in the accident, it said.
How many and how seriously they were injured was initially unclear.
The car in which the Prime Minister was sitting got involved in the accident on Autobahn 81 on a wet road between Boxberg and Möckmühl in the Heilbronn district.
Further details were not known at first.
"Bild" had previously reported on it.
The newspaper also quotes the government spokesman.
According to him, Kretschmann is doing well.
One of his companions was slightly injured.
As the "Bild" reports, Kretschmann's vehicle had come off the lane.
The following support vehicle then braked sharply and a following car crashed into the support vehicle.
However, this process has not yet been confirmed by the authorities.
