Dwayne Johnson

, better known as "The Rock", is one of the celebrities who have had to face the fight against COVID-19, after he, his wife and their two daughters tested positive.

This was revealed by the Hollywood star through a video published on his profile on Instagram, where he pointed out that fortunately they are winning the fight against the virus, since the first symptoms appeared about three weeks ago.

"I can tell you that this has been one of the most difficult and challenging things that we have had to endure as a family," said the 48-year-old former professional wrestler to his more than 196 million followers on the social network.

"I wish I had been the only positive, but it was not like that, it was my whole family, so that was a hard blow. But I am happy to tell you that we are well. We are almost at the end," he added.

Johnson pointed out that his two young daughters had mild symptoms, but that for him and his wife,

Lauren Hashian

, it was something different, although for now they are recovered.

"We can no longer infect and, thank God, we are in good health. We have overcome COVID-19 and we are stronger and healthier," confessed "The Rock".

In addition, he explained that he believes they contracted the virus from very close family friends, who are devastated because they unknowingly infected them.

The protagonist of films such as "Fast & Furious 7" claimed to have been confined since March without leaving home or going to work, but acknowledged that in recent days he had friends and family visiting after so many months without seeing each other, which is why advises his followers not to make the same mistake.

In that sense, he encouraged others to exercise extreme caution if they come to a meeting and take necessary measures, such as getting tested for the coronavirus before going, to prevent the spread.

"Testing positive for COVID-19 is very different from overcoming unpleasant injuries or being evicted or even being bankrupt, which I have been more than a few times," he said.

"The reason I feel that this is different is because my number one priority is to always protect my family and protect my children, my loved ones," added the actor in his message.

To cap it off, Dwayne wrote alongside the clip, "My message to all of you around the world. Stay disciplined. Boost your immune system. Commit to wellness. Wear a mask. Protect your family. Be strict about having people in your home. or meetings. Stay positive and take care of your fellow human beings. Stay healthy my friends. "
