At the Ifa in Berlin, the technology fair that this year takes place mainly in a virtual way due to the coronavirus, the first laptops were staged that integrate the new 11th generation Intel Core processors, Tiger Lake.

Acer, Asus, Samsung and Dynabook (formerly Toshiba) have unveiled classic and convertible 2-in-1 notebooks equipped with the best performing Intel chips on the market.

Acer has brought the Swift 3 and Swift 5 to the Ifa. The latter, with a 14-inch touch screen, is among the first PCs verified by Intel's Evo platform which guarantees, among other things, a real battery life of at least nine hours (the Swift 5 declares an autonomy of 17 hours) and the presence of Wi-Fi 6. Also being tested is the Swift 3, from 13.5 inches and with autonomy that rises to 18 hours.

Samsung showcased the first 5G device that meets Evo requirements. It's the Galaxy Book Flex 5G, Samsung's first laptop compatible with next-generation mobile networks.

It is a 13.3-inch convertible, equipped with the S Pen and a 13 megapixel camera.

Wide range of Asus with ZenBooks.

They range from the ZenBook S, the flagship with a 13.9-inch touch screen and a fast recharge that reaches 60% in 49 minutes, to the ZenBook Flip S, a 2-in-1 with a 13.3-inch OLED display;

from the ZenBook 14 with a second screen instead of the trackpad, to the ExpertBook B9, which presents itself as the lightest professional laptop in the world: 880 grams.

The new Intel processor is then on the former Toshiba laptops, taken over by Sharp and marketed by the Dynabook division.

They are the Portégé X30W-J convertible and the Portégé X30L-J classic laptop, both with 13.3-inch screens and weighing less than one kilogram.
