Covid: 11 deaths, new records infected with 1,733 cases

(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 04 - The death toll of the last 24 hours for Coronavirus is 11 dead and 1,733 new infected.


   Numbers up compared to yesterday, when there were 1,397 positives and 10 deaths.

For the new cases it is record: there has not been a similar result since May 2.

Tampons are also booming, over 113 thousand (+ 21 thousand compared to yesterday).

Iguariti have also increased, to 537 (yesterday they were 289) These figures from the Ministry of Health.


    The number of intensive care from Covid is stable, increasing by one (121) while the number of newly hospitalized with symptoms is growing (1,607, +102).

Overall, the current positive figures exceed 30,000 (30,099) with an increase of 1,184 over yesterday.


    No region has zero new cases: only Valle d'Aosta (2), Molise (4) and Basilicata (7) are under ten.

Lombardy is the region with the greatest increase (337), followed by Veneto (273) and by Lazio and Campania (both with 171 new cases to date).
